Ingredients to prepare Panchamrit at home

  • Cow milk – 250 ml (fresh)

  • Mishri – 2 table spoon (powdered)

  • Honey – 1 table spoon

  • Desi ghee – 1 table spoon

  • Fresh curd – 2 table spoon

  • Tulsi leaves – 2-3

Directions to prepare Panchamrut at home

  • To make Panchamrit, first take cream curd and put it in a pan or deep bottom vessel and whisk it well. Keep in mind that the curd should not become too thin while whisking. It is important to maintain a little thickness in the curd for Panchamrit. It may take 1-2 minutes to whisk the curd.
  • After this, add milk to the curd and mix it well with the curd with the help of a big spoon. If you want, you can also use chilled milk.
  • Now add 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of sugar (or as per taste) to this curd-milk mixture and mix it with the Panchamrit with the help of a spoon until the sugar is completely mixed in this mixture.
  • Lord Krishna’s favorite Panchamrut bhog is ready to be offered to him. Finally, break the basil (Tulsi) leaves and add them to this mixture. Basil leaves are necessarily added to Panchamrit because they are considered to have great religious importance.
