The recipe of making delicious paneer bhurji at home is very easy. It does not take much time to make it and it tastes very good too. When you make paneer bhurji with this recipe, the eaters will not stop praising you. So let’s know the right way to make it and the ingredients used in making it and their correct quantity.

Ingredients to prepare Paneer Bhurji

  • Paneer – 250 grams

  • Onion – 1 medium size (Chopped)

  • Tomato – 1 medium size (Chopped)

  • Capsicum – 1 medium size (Chopped)

  • Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

  • Ginger chopped – 1 inch piece

  • Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon

  • Asafoetida – 1 pinch

  • Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon

  • Pav bhaji masala – 1/2 teaspoon

  • Green coriander – 2 tablespoon

  • Oil – 1 tablespoon

  • Salt – as per taste

Directions to cook Paneer Bhurji

  • To get the taste of paneer bhurji available in the market, first of all finely chop onion, red chilli and green chilli.
  • Remove the seeds from the tomato and cut the tomato into small pieces.
  • After that take paneer in a bowl and crush it by pressing it with the help of hands and keep it aside.
  • Now put 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and asafoetida and fry for a few seconds.
  • When the cumin seeds become light brown, add finely chopped onion to it and fry while stirring until the color of the onion becomes light brown.
  • After this, add garlic paste to it and mix and fry for 1 minute. After that add finely chopped tomatoes and keep stirring them in the pan with a spoon until they become soft.
  • After this, add finely chopped green chilli and ginger, mix and fry for 1 more minute. After that add all the spices including red chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powder and mix.
  • Now fry the spices on low flame for 2-3 minutes. After this, add finely chopped capsicum and cook the mixture until the vegetables become soft.
  • If water is needed, add water as per requirement. When the spices and vegetables are fried well, then add the crumbled paneer and with the help of a ladle, mix this crumbled paneer well with the spices.
  • After adding salt as per taste, cover the paneer bhurji and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • After this, turn off the gas and add green coriander leaves and mix. Serve the tasty paneer bhurji to your guests.
